I posted a series of well-wishings last year that seemed to go over really well, and I think I will post the set again with a few additional thoughts. It is fitting and in keeping with who the administrator of this website is, O Reader, to do so.

If you are Catholic: Christ is Risen! He is truly Risen! Hopefully this is a season of renewal and grace for you and your family, and if you are not able to attend Vigil Mass this evening may you have a holy and blessed Sunday and find time in the hectic pace of visiting family and preparing large dinners to partake of the Sacrament of the Eucharist. Be thankful that God does not see the world as we — being merely human — do, and praise Him for His love.

If you are Christian, but not Catholic: Christ is Risen! He is truly Risen! May this weekend be a time of spiritual growth and a season of renewal and grace for you and your family. Be thankful that God does not see the world as we — being merely human — do, and praise Him for His love.

If you are religious but not Christian: May this weekend be a time of rest and of spiritual growth for you, and may you continue securely in your journey of faith. If you are spending the long weekend with family, may you have an enjoyable time with them, and grow closer to all your loved ones.

If you are agnostic/atheist/secular: Have a safe and happy long weekend, and may your heart and mind remain unclosed to the meaning that so many people around the world attach to this blessed week. Catch a happy easter from over here as well. Winter has fought its way back so my children had to search their eastereggs under the snow – not what you call the beginning of spring ;-)

Happy Easter, everyone.

Ergonpandilus, the Easter Egg suggestion is a good one; I’m tempted to save that for next year. Also, if you want Ultima art, some of the project sites have very good stuff — U6 Project and Lazarus especially. Denis Loubet’s website (there should be a link on the FAQ page here) also has some nice stuff, though not necessarily at monitor resolutions.

Toltec, the weather at this end has likewise been…strange. It’s definitely not spring quite yet.

Hawkwind…absolutely! Happy Easter is the greeting of choice for the next 50-ish days! Or…well, not quite 50 anymore, but still.

I have had a very hard time trying to find decent resolution Ultima art. It would be nice if someone perhaps made a post requesting this stuff…

Well, I’ll do some investigation and see if I can’t come up with something. Ultima Art wasn’t ever one of Aiera’s “features” but with the ease with which galleries can be added to the Wordpress architecture, perhaps it’s time to re-think that stance.

I’m thinking that I will look for an image submission plugin and management system; if I can figure out a good scheme, I’ll see if I can create a repository for just these sorts of images that users can submit content to.

I’m not thinking of something like ICanHasCheezburger, but I’m not thinking of something terribly different either.
